ADDITIONAL SERVICES
We at New Mexico Connections Academy strive to develop relationships that encourage families to contact our special education department when their students with IEPs are experiencing difficulties or when families need information about special education laws and regulations. We continue to work hard so that our families feel comfortable contacting us with any concerns.
To ensure our families have all the resources they need, the state of New Mexico has created the Office of the Special Education Ombud (OSEO) after months of extensive planning and partnership with advocacy groups, state agencies, and the Developmental Disabilities Council. The OSEO is ready to serve students and families directly.
