Student Spotlight: Nicole P.
Nicole P. is on a mission to succeed as an artist. The recent Georgia Connections Academy graduate has been serious about art for many years, saying, “I always said to the kids in my elementary art class that I’m gonna be an artist when I grow up.” The flexibility of our online school gave Nicole the freedom she needed to pursue her passion.
According to Nicole, “I want to get a Bachelor of Fine Arts in illustration and, after college, hopefully land myself in a solid career illustrating books or concept art for animated shows or movies. … As of now, I’ve gained acceptance to Kennesaw State University’s College of Art and Design … to the School of Visual Arts in New York City … and to the School of the Art Institute of Chicago with an $88,000 merit scholarship award.”

Can my student transfer to Connections Academy mid-year?
Absolutely! While we always recommend that students transfer at the beginning of the semester to have the smoothest transition possible, we also accept students a few weeks into both the fall and spring semester (if capacity allows).
